Who is LEE JONG HYUN?

* 李宗泫 (LEE JONG HYUN)

* member of the 52nd graduate class of Song-do Middle School, Busan.

* born in 15th may, 1990

* blood type : O

* height and weight : 182cm, 64kg

* hobby: exercise, and his specialty is in Judo and Taekwondo. He was an active; enjoyable boy since he was young.

How was the life from Japan to Korea?

Jonghyun has in fact experienced living in a foreign country for 4 years with his parents when he was a 4-year-old boy. After that (when he was 8 years old), he came back to Korea and lived in Songdo, Busan.

He graduated Songdo Elementary School, Songdo Middle School, and entered Bukyung High School, but since he became busy with music activity, he transferred to the School of Performing Arts Seoul, where most of the students are trainees from different entertainment agencies.

As a Judo athlete, he worked out his mental power, technique, and body when was in middle school

Jonghyun is now famous as a singer, but when he was living in Busan, he was well known as a Judo athlete. When he entered in middle school, he learned Judo from his teacher Kim Chang Keun, a Judo association advisor, who was at the same time, a vice-chairman of the Judo Society of Busan Metropolitan City, and has 7th grade official approval.

Jonghyun was a quick learner, so he got his first Judo grade official approval in advance. In May 2005, he participated in the 42nd Busan Metropolitan City Judo Championship, he was in A team, and won the 2nd grade. In March 2006, he got the prize as 3rd grade in Busan Metropolitan City Judo Championship (male 55kg class). He received prizes as good grades for two years in a row. There is a rumor that he stopped Judo after he got a shock upon defeating an undergrad boy (who is older than him).

After he entered middle school in 2004, getting these grades with only 1 to 2 years of exercise mainly because he had a wonderful motor nerve. These wonderful examples were shown in judo, but his nice tendency was not only in sports.

Jonghyun as an honor student

According to the teacher of Songdo Middle School, Jonghyun was an honor student. In those phase of life, he had always listened carefully to his teacher, and adapted to his surroundings well. He took some early leaves (from school hours) during his first and second grade in middle school, but he was never absent (full attendance). But in the third grade,Jonghyun was absent for 8 days, as he was hospitalized due to a car accident.

He is the school pride, not only in sports

His appearance as an honor student was not only in his sports ability but also in life. He was also a top student in academics, and he won many academic related prizes in the school.

Jonghyun received the「Outstanding Prize」in school writing contest in 2004, and since his score was so good, he also got the「Excellence Award」for that particular subject at the end of the first school term. He wrote report at the school’s Autumn outdoors learning in October, 2004, and won「Outstanding Prize」too.

Plus, since he only had early leaves in the 1st grade, and was never absent, so naturally he received the「Attendance Award」. In addition, the following year in the 2nd grade, he got 「Excellence Award」for academic subjects at the end of the 2nd school term. Jonghyun was also given the「Outstanding Prize」by submitting report of the school’s Spring outdoors learning, and again he receive the「Attendance Award」at the end of his 2nd grade for not being absent for school that year.

Jonghyun was diligent in every way, so all the teachers loved him, and he is a big pride in Songdo Middle School.

“So, tell me, honey. Is she the one you were trying to kiss on the stairway of an Institute?” You were sitting on the other end of the sofa, wriggling your eyebrows as you asked him, resting your chin on your palm.

Across the couch, you hear him scoff. Then he crosses his arms on his chest, and he crosses his legs after. “Do you really need to know?”

You give him a shrug, letting him know that it’s either he tells you or you’ll give him a cold shoulder. That’s how it has been every time he tries to escape from questions involving his past girlfriends. You’re not really giving him the cold shoulder though. You’re just always curious if he’ll give in if you act up, and it actually works. Every time.

He just then sighs, slides his way to you, and stares at you. And with that, you lose again. Of course he knows your weakest point. It’s been years, you’ve been friends, best friends, lovers, lovers and best friends; The world you’re living in with him, somehow it’s something you can call home. Where no one and nothing is strange.

Seconds after, you were able to snap out of it. “You think it’s working? You’re giving me the awkward air again and again. Don’t you have anything new?” You chuckle at the sight of his straight face after he realized it doesn’t work anymore.

“Well maybe, just maybe, you’d be considerate again because you always like how the awkward air I’m giving you ends up.” He sticks his tongue out to you and before he could put it back inside his mouth, you’ve already flicked it with your finger. “Mother f- What was that for?” And again, you just chuckle. “You know, you’re being really childish now.” He stands up and storms off, making his way to your bedroom that was just across the living room.

You can’t help but laugh at how he is when he just got back from a tour or from work. You just let him shut the bedroom door because you’re confident about the fact that…. in five, four, three, two- “Okay honey, you wanna be childish? Let’s be childish!” He shouts as he opens the door. You see him standing at the middle of the doorway, the bedsheet wrapped around him.

“What are you doing, Jonghyun? I thought I told you not to let the sheets touch the fl-” He cuts you by a whiny sound.

“Me wanna play tent on the bed. No clothes allowed! Only blanky!” And there you have it, he already thought of a new strategy. Although it only made you laugh harder but he knows how to get back. He unwraps himself from the blanket and runs to you, then you notice he was wearing nothing but his underwear. You know that there’s no escape anymore, and in the back of your mind, you want this. You want him, and he wants you more than you want him. He lifts you up from the couch, his arms wrapped tightly around your waist, then he looks up at you. “You asked for something new, I give it to you. You know we’ve never played tent before.” And as you both make your way to the bedroom, you also both know that it’s going to be a wild night. But…

“Yes, she was the one who I was trying to kiss on the stairway of an Institute.” He suddenly blurts out after closing the bedroom door behind him. You kiss him fully on the lips, telling him it’s not important anymore. He kisses back, snakes his arms around your body, and slightly pulls away. “But it was nothing like this.”
